Kolkata, India. The city is awaiting the President, who is set to inaugurate a monumental statue dedicated to the People's Man. BIPLAB, a 56-year-old insurance agent rejected by both his family and society, can no longer bear the decay surrounding him. In an act of catharsis, he decides to remain motionless at the foot of the statue. His act of defiance soon grows into a global movement.
